Two children drown in Chuadanga

Two children drowned in the Bhairab river at Muktarpur village under Jibannagar upazila of the district today.
The deceased are Rimon Hossain, 6, son of Md. Sajib Hossain and Md. Junayed Hossain, 7, son of Md. Jewel Mia, residents of Eidgah Para in Muktarpur village.
Family sources said that after school hours, Rimon and Junayed along with some other children went to the river near their house for taking bath at noon and drowned, reports BSS.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jibannagar Police Station Mamun Hossain Biswas confirmed the incident.
