Eid Train Tickets to Be Available from May 14

Bangladesh Railway will begin selling advance train tickets on May 14 to facilitate a hassle-free Eid journey for travellers.
As in previous years, all tickets will be available online.
Tickets for May 31 departures will be available from May 21, while tickets for outbound journeys from June 1 to 6 will be released between May 22 and 27, with each day's tickets corresponding to the specific travel date.
Return tickets will be available from May 30, starting with tickets for June 9. Tickets for return trips from June 10 to 15 will be sold from May 31 to June 5.
To meet the expected demand, five pairs of special Eid trains will operate on various routes.
The ticketing schedule was finalised at a preparatory meeting held today at Dhaka's Bidyut Bhaban. The meeting was chaired by Railways Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, with Railways Secretary Fahimul Islam announcing the details.
