Metro rail to run from Uttara at 7.10am from Wednesday
Two additional trains of the metro rail will start operation at 7.10am and 7.20am from Wednesday from the Uttara.
Two additional trains of the metro rail will start operation at 7.10am and 7.20am from Wednesday from the Uttara station to facilitate teachers and students of different educational institutions with the commuter service.
The authorities came up with the extended service so that students and teachers can avail the service as the educational institutions usually open at 8:00am.
The metro rail authorities, however, decided to make the extended services available only for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Pass or Rapid Pass holders (permanent pass), MRT Line officials said.
Currently, the metro rail service is available between 7.30am and 11.30am on Agargaon-Motijheel route.
