Patuakhali: The Kalapara Upazila Committee (2025-2026) of Bangladesh Government Primary School Teachers Association has been formed. Md. Shah Suja Uddin has been elected as the president and Md. Sohrab Hossain Hiron as the general secretary of this 41-member committee.

Earlier, on February 15, the approval of this committee was confirmed through a notification signed by Bangladesh Government Primary School Teachers Association Patuakhali District Branch President Kazi Md. Moniruzzaman and Secretary Md. Ataul Haque (Atik).

Md. Abul Bashar has been appointed as the senior vice-president of this new committee, while Md. Zahiduzzaman, Md. KM Monir, Md. Abdul Jalil Khan, Md. Mostafa Jamal, Md. Yunus Hasan, Ma Ma Nai, Israt Jahan Nasima and Md. Suraiya Shilpi have been appointed as the vice-presidents. SM Rakibul Ahsan has been appointed as the Senior Joint General Secretary and Md. Alamgir Palash, Md. Shakirul and Mosa. Shahina Akhter will serve as Joint General Secretaries.

In addition, Md. Arifur Rahman has been appointed as the Organizing Secretary, Md. Nur Islam as the Co-Organizing Secretary, Gazi Jamal as the Office Secretary, Nil Ratan Halder as the Finance Secretary, Md. Jewel Molla as the Information and Publicity Secretary, Md. Sumon Mohibullah as the Cub Scout Secretary, Md. Mizanur Rahman as the Sports and Cultural Affairs Secretary, Md. Nurul Haque as the Cooperative Affairs Secretary, Kulsum Akhter Rozina as the Women's Affairs Secretary, and Rabeya Basri Sonia as the Co-Women's Affairs Secretary. - Gofran Palash
