20 IIUC students get Muslim Youth scholarships

Saudi Arabia based international organization World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) awarded full free scholarships to 20 students of various departments of International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC).



Saudi Arabia based international organization World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) awarded full free scholarships to 20 students of various departments of International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) on Tuesday.

IIUC Board of Trustees chairman Professor Dr Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nadvi, MP said IIUC and WAMY had a long-standing relationship and WAMY had been a proud partner in various development activities of IIUC since its start.

WAMY had assured all kinds of cooperation to enrich the students with information technology knowledge, training programs to enhance their skills, scholarships for teachers-students.

IIUC vice-chancellor Anwarul Azim Arif presided over the programme while IIUC treasurer Professor Dr Md Humayun Kabir, registrar AFM Akhtaruzzaman Kaiser, International Affairs and Student Welfare Division director (Acting) Md Mahfuzur Rahman, International Affairs Division and Teacher of Dawah and Islamic Studies Department coordinator Abdur Rahim were present.
