Rain likely in all 8 divisions Thursday

Dhaka, May 8 - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)forecast that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places, in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

"Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country," said a weather bulletin issued this morning.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius at Khepupara, and the minimum temperature today was 20.0 degrees Celsius at Hatiya.

Rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 51mm at Rajshahi.
