Journalist Sazzadul passes away

Sazzadul Islam Sanu , a staff reporter of local daily Purbatara died at Chattogram Maa and Shishu Haspatal in the city on Thursday morning. 

 
He was 60. Sazzadul had been suffering from various complicated diseases including heart ailment and was under treatment there for last few days. He breathed his last at 07.40 a.m today, family sources said. 
 
 After leaving his job at daily Purbatara few years back , Sazzad also served as senior executive at a private company in textile sector. 

He left behind his wife, two brothers, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. 
 
Sazzadul was buried at Miskin Shah graveyard in the city’s College Road area after his namaj-e-janaza at a local mosque following Magreb prayer. 
 
Editor of the daily Purbatara Saiful Alam Siddique expressed his profound shock at the death of journalist Sazzadul Islam.  He prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, reports BSS.
