BNP Secretary General and candidate of Thakurgaon-1 constituency Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said the party does not want a new generation that has been drawn into misguided politics.

“One party is spreading false information to mislead mothers and sisters. They claim that voting for them will guarantee entry into heaven—such statements are completely false and misleading,” he said.

He was addressing an election rally at Kazipara village in Mohammadpur Union, Thakurgaon Sadar, reports BSS.

He said, “Our mothers and sisters are suffering after taking high-interest loans from NGOs. If BNP comes to power, we will take responsibility for alleviating their suffering and introduce a family card system for women.”

He further stated, “For the past 17 years, the people of the country have been victims of oppression and repression under fascist rule. After that dark period, they now once again have the opportunity to determine the future of their country.”

Addressing voters, he said, “The country is in your hands-you are the true owners of the nation. Therefore, there is no room for mistakes. You must cast your vote based on the right decision and your conscience.”

A large number of local leaders, activists and general voters attended the rally.
