Begum Zia never bows to injustice: Moyeen Khan

BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan today said that Begum Khaleda Zia is a steadfast and uncompromising leader who has never bowed her head to injustice. 


“As an uncompromising leader, Begum Khaleda Zia has never bowed her head to injustice and for this reason, she remains a beloved figure to people irrespective of political affiliation,” he said. 

He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion and prayer session organized by Palash Thana and Ghorashal City units of Chhatra Dal to seek prayers for the recovery and good health of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Dr. Moyeen Khan said Begum Khaleda Zia harbors no hatred, vengeance, or anger and for his reason people from all walks of life respect her. “She has always fought for democracy in the country. That courageous, patriotic leader now stands at the crossroads of life and death,” he added.

He sought prayers from all citizens for Begum Khaleda Zia’s recovery.

Ghorashal City Chhatra Dal Convener Amanullah Aman presided over the programme. 

Palash Upazila BNP President Abdus Sattar, Ghorashal Municipality President and former Upazila Vice-Chairman Md. Alam Molla, Upazila BNP General Secretary Professor Saiful Islam, Senior Joint General Secretary Md. Bahaauddin Bhuiya Milton, Palash JCD Convener Md. Nazmul Hossain Bhuiya Sohel and Member Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Papon and Municipal Member Secretary Ariful Islam Arif, among others, addressed the programme. 

At the end of the discussion, special prayers were offered for the recovery and well-being of Begum Khaleda Zia, reports BSS.
