BNP Announces New Convening Committee for AAB
The BNP has announced a new convening committee for the Agriculturists’ Association of Bangladesh (AAB).
In a press release issued on Saturday night, signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the party named a six-member partial committee.
Kamruzzaman Kaiser of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University has been appointed convener, while Shahadat Hossain Biplob of Mymensingh Agricultural University will serve as member secretary.
The committee also includes Shahadat Hossain Chanchal of Mymensingh Agricultural University, Professor Abul Bashar of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, and Shafiqul Islam Shafik of Mymensingh Agricultural University as joint conveners. Professor Jamshed Alam of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University has been made a member (office in charge).
Earlier, on March 25, BNP dissolved the committee led by convener Rashidul Hasan Harun and member secretary Mostafizur Rahman.
The newly formed committee has been tasked with expanding the body to 51 members within two weeks and submitting the full list to BNP’s central office at Nayapaltan.
