Argentina envoy meets Jamaat Ameer

Argentine Ambassador Marcelo Carlos Sessa today met with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman at his office in the capital's Bashundhara.
During the meeting, they discussed the overall situation in Bangladesh and bilateral relations, investment, international relations and other issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Argentina.
The Ambassador reiterated Argentina's strong support for Bangladesh. They also expressed hope that bilateral economic relations and development between the two countries will continue to grow.
At the beginning of the meeting, he inquired about the health of Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr Shafiqur Rahman and wished him good health.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Secretary-General Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair and party chief's Foreign Affairs Adviser Professor Dr Mahmudul Hasan, reports BSS.
