The upcoming Parliamentary Election of Bangladesh is very crucial and important one after the bloody mass upsurge of Bangladesh, which the people around world termed as the second independence of Bangladesh. This election will be a milestone for many reasons. The representatives or the new MPs will prepare a new Constitution for the country suiting the hopes and aspirations of the nation.  We are facing problems.

Our dedicated people, particularly, the proclaimer of the independence of Bangladesh, Shahid President Ziaur Rahman was martyred by a known hegemonic adversary, which still conspires to continues grab our countries.

Addressing the Tri-Annual Conference of Kesoregonj District BNP held at the old stadium Tareq Raman, the Acting Chairman of BNP recalled saying Sheikh Hasina fled to India, but the invisible dictatorial power slowly is raises its head.

Referring to the sacrifice of the people he said, they fought for their rights for years. He said the political parties, which believe in people and democracy have unitedly struggled to regain their rights. At present, the interim government is operating the country and driving the proposed reform. About 5 percent of these proposals were presented in front of the people of the country two and a half years ago. Various political parties of Bangladesh have presented their views on the issue. There may be disagreements on some issues of opinion. However, there is no disagreement with the people's political rights, the security of the people and their right to survive. That is, the BNP wants to do these things.

Highlighting the sorrows and sufferings that more than 1 lakh leaders and activists of BNP leaders and activists, orchestrated by the last Awami League government, Tarique Rahman said, "Those were under false and fabricated cases."

But "I want to say something important to you. None of the BNP leaders and activists would be allowed to use the party name or its influence to derive personal interest.

He even asked the police to take drastic action against those BNP leaders and activists who are involved in anti-social activities. His blunt and open warning and action against the BNP, not only popularised Tarique Rahman, but also created a good lesson for other parties, which will open a new chapter of clarity, honesty, accountability and probity in Bangladesh politics.

Politics is not a profession for money or power making machine, rather a way to serve the country selflessly.

It was first started by Shahid President Ziaur Rahman, who left nothing for his family. It was equally followed by Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman is as if a reflection of his parents.

Those who could see Tarique Rahman found him a reflection of his parents. I strongly believe if he tries to take the leadership of Bangladesh dishonesty and misuse of power he will wither away from our politics.

It will be a way of serving the people and the country selflessly which his parents did throughout their political life.

Observers opine, if the BNP leaders and activists follow the life-style of their three leaders a new chapter of openness, clarity, honesty and simplicity  will germinate in Bangladesh politics which will remove corruption, vulgarism, favortism and intra-party rivalry for power and money.

This will also compel the politicians to depend on the countrymen to win elections instead of external powers, which will ultimately strengthen the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh,
