Bangladesh has reaffirmed its commitment to democratic reform and rebuilding public trust during the 51st OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Istanbul.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain emphasized the interim government’s goal of a “peaceful and participatory transition,” led by Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus.

Speaking before member states, he underscored the importance of OIC solidarity in supporting Bangladesh’s “historic democratic transition” and outlined key priorities — including justice in Palestine, accountability for Israeli aggression, and a lasting solution to the Rohingya crisis.
