'Students and Public Will Stop AL's Rehabilitation Attempts'

Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh’s Deputy Amir, Ahmed Ali Kasemi, warned that any attempts to rehabilitate the Awami League would be strongly opposed by students and the public, just as they were during the July uprising. He made these remarks on Friday, March 21, during a protest rally in front of Baitul Mukarram Mosque, organized to condemn Israel’s genocide in Palestine.

Kasemi also criticized India’s actions, particularly the BJP's attempt to provoke Muslims by interfering with the tomb of Aurangzeb. "The BJP should stop meddling in Bangladesh's internal matters. They have sheltered Bangladesh's killers, betraying the patriotic people," he said.

He condemned the brutal attack on Gaza, noting, "While Gaza residents were preparing for Sehri, they were attacked unexpectedly. We have learned that 400 men and women were killed in the assault. We strongly condemn this act of violence."

Hefazat-e-Islam’s central adviser, Abdur Rakib, expressed deep concern over the ongoing oppression of Muslims in Palestine, stating, "No Muslim can tolerate such cruelty. Bangladesh stands in solidarity with all Muslims worldwide. Hefazat-e-Islam is not only a protector of Islam but also a servant to the entire Muslim community."
