BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul seeks bail
Syed Joynul Abedin Mejbah filed the bail petition with the court of Md Asaduzzaman of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge on Thursday .
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir sought bail in a case filed on charges of attack on chief justice’s residence and vandalising.
Syed Joynul Abedin Mejbah filed the bail petition with the court of Md Asaduzzaman of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge on Thursday (November 2).
Fakhrul’s lawyer said we filed a bail petition in CMM court this morning. We hope that we will a hearing date of the bail petition Thursday afternoon.
Earlier on October 28, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was detained at his Gulshan home by the Detective Branch (DB) of police. Later, he was shown arrested in the case.
