Police recovered the body of a missing man from a pond at sadar upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Wednesday morning.

Police recovered the body of a missing man from a pond at sadar upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Wednesday morning.
The dead was Rasel Mia, 43, a resident of Kazipara Maulvi Hati area of the upazila.
Police said Rasel Mia left his home around 11 pm on Monday and was missing till then. Later, local people spotted his body floating in a pond next to the house in the morning and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Brahmanbaria General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Brahmanbaria Sadar Police Station sub-inspector Dharmajit Singh confirmed the matter.
