Women's handball team to leave for Uzbekistan tomorrow

Dhaka, 4 Nov -Bangladesh U-17 women's handball team will leave for Uzbekistan Sunday to participate in the Intercontinental Handball competition scheduled to be held from November 6-11.

Earlier, Bangladesh qualified to participate in the intercontinental competition for the second time after defeating Maldives, Nepal and strong India Bangabandhu IHF Challenge Trophy Women's (Youth and Junior) held in May this year in Dhaka.

Bangladesh U-17 women's handball team - Sakiba Jannat (captain), Purnota Rahman (vice-captain), Thera Akter, Riya Chowdhury, Ayesha Khatun, Mithila Akter Jimmy, Mahtafin Azhar, Mehrun Nessa, Sumi Akter, Brishty Khatun and Mitu Rani.

Team officials - Shafiqul Islam (team manager), Dalia Akter (coach) and Md. Salahuddin Rijon (assistant coach).
