BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday night visited the grave of her late husband and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.

She went to Zia’s grave and offered fateha there around 11pm, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

The BNP chief also offered a munajat, seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of the late president Ziaur Rahman.

Party sources said Khaleda last visited Ziaur Rahman’s grave in 2018, reports UNB.
