Firoz Kamal FA clinch BFF Academy Cup title

Dhaka, 22 Feb- Firoz Kamal Football Academy of Brahmanbaria clinched the title of the BFF Academy Championship football beating Rampur Football Academy of Chattogram by 4-1 goals in the final held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur on Thursday.

Mahim of the champion team, who emerged as the highest scorer of the meet, was named as the best player for his impressive performance while Rakib Mondol of the same team received the best goal keeping award.

Bangladesh Football Federation's (BFF) vice president and development committee's chairman Md Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik, it's member Mohidur Rahman Miraz BFF elite football academy trainer Peter James Butler, among others, witnessed the day's final match.

The champions received Taka one lakh while the runners-up got Taka 50,000 as prize money. 

Earlier, on way to the final, Firoz Kamal Football Academy thrashed Bhabaniganj Football Academy of Rajshahi by 6-0 goals in the first semifinal while Rampur Football Academy of Chattogram blanked College Para Football Academy of Lalmonirhat by 3-0 goals in the second semis.
