Responding to a supplementary question from independent MP Rumeen Farhana (Brahmanbaria-2) in Parliament, he said cases have already been filed against many individuals, while investigations are underway.
"I have already informed Parliament of the measures being taken. Many cases have been filed, investigations are continuing, and the process of seizing the properties of many accused persons is already underway," the minister said.
He said the government remained firm in its stance against those who had siphoned off the country's wealth and moved it overseas.
"The BNP will make no compromise with those who looted the country's money and fled abroad. This government will make no compromise, and this drive will continue," Khosru said.
He said he has repeatedly briefed Parliament on the actions taken by the government, including detailed information on the legal and administrative measures already initiated.
The minister reaffirmed that the ongoing campaign against money laundering and illicit wealth will continue, reports UNB.
