Dhaka, Oct 16 – The Bangladesh Army held the chief of army staff’s parade for the Engineers and Signals Corps recruit batch-2025 on Thursday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The Engineers Corps parade took place at the Engineer Center and School of Military Engineering (ECSME) in Kadirabad Cantonment, Natore, while the Signals Corps parade was held at the Signal Training Center and School (STC&S) in Jessore Cantonment.

Major General Iftekhar Anis, BSP, ADC, AFWC, PSC, PEng, Director General of the Bangladesh Institute of International Strategic Studies (BIISS), attended the Engineers Corps parade as the chief guest, reviewing and receiving the salute of the recruits.

Meanwhile, Major General Md. Nasim Parvez, BSP, NDC, AFWC, PSC, Commandant of MIST, attended the Signals Corps parade as the chief guest.

Through the coordinated parades, the new recruits formally joined the Bangladesh Army as soldiers.

The chief guests highlighted the proud tradition of the Bangladesh Army and the contributions of the Engineers and Signals Corps.

They urged the recruits to gain skills through modern training and be prepared to face 21st-century challenges while dedicating themselves to the service of the nation.

Senior military and civilian officials, officers, other ranks, invited guests, families of the recruits, and media representatives attended both events and witnessed the impressive parades. - UNB
