Dhaka, Oct 13 – The injured member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), who was hit in a land mine explosion in Bandarban, was airlifted to Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH) by a BGB helicopter on Monday.

The BGB men identified as Nayek Md Akhtar Hossain, injured in a mine explosion along Tumbru border in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban district on Sunday.

He was first taken to Ramu Cantonment.

Later, he was airlifted to Dhaka CMH by a BGB helicopter for advanced treatment, said BGB headquarters Public Relations officer Shariful Islam. - UNB
