News Desk Migration 2022-12-08, 6:09pm

Three dengue patients died while 246 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours.

Some 24 Rohingya are going to leave Bangladesh in the first phase as part of the US refugee resettlement declaration. They will leave Dhaka for USA tonight, said foreign minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.

The minister said this while addressing a program at Cox’s Bazar on Thursday (December 8).

He said a list of 62 people was made initially. The US will take 24 Rohingyas in the first phase. They will leave Dhaka today.

The minister also said 40 people live per square mile in the United States. On the other hand, 3,200 people live per square mile in Bangladesh.

However, the foreign minister does not see this rehabilitation as a solution. He said, the real solution is repatriation.
