Several regions of Dhaka will experience a gas outage for a total of eight hours from 12am to 8pm on Thursday due to urgent pipeline maintenance work.



Several regions of Dhaka will experience a gas outage for a total of eight hours from 12am to 8pm on Thursday due to urgent pipeline maintenance work.

Titas Gas Transmission and Company Limited issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (June 7).

The statement mentioned that due to urgent replacement or removal works in the gas pipeline, the gas supply will be suspended in Bhatpara, Jaleshwar, Razashon, Kamlapur, Baliapur, Konda, Hemayetpur, Phulbaria, Banktown, Bank Colony, Genda, Islampur, Falguni Housing, Nayarhat, Akran, Kaliakoir, Gorupur, Khezur Bagan and Ashulia areas.

In addition to this, areas surrounding these regions might also experience low gas pressure, the release added.
