The government will begin administering free typhoid vaccines to children aged nine months to 15 years from October 12 as part of a month-long nationwide campaign.

According to the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, children from pre-primary to class nine (or equivalent) will receive one dose of the vaccine under the Typhoid Vaccination Campaign-2025.

To receive the vaccine, parents or guardians must complete an online registration by submitting the child’s birth registration details at vaxepi.gov.bd.

The Health Services Division disclosed the information in an official circular issued today, reports BSS.
