OIC Strongly Condemns the Israeli Legalisation of Settlements

Jeddah, 09-02-2026 - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expresses its absolute rejection and condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation cabinet's approval of a series of decisions to impose a new reality through colonial settlement and change the legal status of the occupied Palestinian territory, including Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The organization emphasized that Israel's colonial settlement policy constitutes a war crime and a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, foremost among which is Security Council Resolution 2334, in addition to the legal opinion issued by the International Court of Justice, renewing its call on the international community, especially the Security Council, to shoulder its responsibilities and take immediate action to put an end to all crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy site. – OIC News
