The United States and Saudi Arabia have finalised agreements on civil nuclear cooperation and the future sale of advanced F-35 fighter jets during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit on Tuesday.

According to an official statement, both sides endorsed a joint declaration on civil nuclear energy, establishing the legal framework for a long-term, multi-billion-dollar partnership based on strict non-proliferation standards.

The White House also confirmed that President Donald Trump approved a major defence package covering future deliveries of F-35 next-generation fighter aircraft to Saudi Arabia.
