BRAC Bank stands beside 4500 flood victims.

BRAC Bank is contributing BDT 2 crore in emergency relief to support families affected by recent flash floods in southeastern Bangladesh.

Partnering with BRAC’s Emergency Response Team, the bank is providing essential food and cash assistance to over 22,000 people from 4,500 families.

Severe monsoon flooding caused by continuous rainfall and upstream river discharge has affected thousands of people in the districts of Khagrachhari, Bandarban, Rangamati, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar. In response, BRAC Bank is supporting humanitarian efforts to help vulnerable communities meet urgent needs.

Each beneficiary family will receive BRAC’s 7-day food package, which includes essential food items worth BDT 3,500, plus BDT 1,000 in cash assistance, providing vital support during the immediate post-disaster period.
