Differences between DRU, DRU Housing Society bridged

Annual General Meeting of DRU Housing was held on Saturday.

Misunderstanding between the Dhaka Reporters Unity and the DRU Housing Cooperative Society was resolved  at a special annual general meeting (AGM) of the latter on Saturday.

DRU president Saleh Akan and secretary, Moinul Hasan Sohel were present and spoke at the AGM presided over by society's president Syed Abul Hossain.

Leaders of the DRU and the DRU Housing Cooperative Society came to an understanding that the latter will accommodate two representatives of DRU executive committee in its managing body and keep the former informed of its activities.

DRU leaders said they would accommodate information about the housing society in its monthly reports posted to members, and if need be extend its support in the functioning of the latter.

The AGM was addressed by senior members of the DRU Cooperative society apart from leaders of the society and the DRU.
