5th round of BD Championship League football begins Sunday
Dhaka, 22 March - After a day recess, the fifth round of Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League football, the second-tier professional football league of the country, begins Sunday with three matches are billed for the day at three separate venues in the capital and its adjoining area.
On the day, Arambagh Krira Sangha will take on Wari Club Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground in the capital, BRTC Sports Club face BFF Elite Football Academy at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur and City Club meet Uttar Baridhara Club at Fortis ground (jalshiri).
In the remaining fifth-round matches on the following day (Monday), Dhaka Rangers Football Club will play against Little Friends Club at Fortis ground (jalshiri) while old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club face PWD Sports Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
All the matches kick off at 2.45 pm.BSS
