Two matches of BPL to be held tomorrow

Dhaka,  2 May-Two matches of fourteen round of Bangladesh Premier League football will be held tomorrow (Friday) at two separate venues across the country.

On the day, Chittagong Abahani Limited will take on Mohammedan Sporting Club
at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj while Lieutenant
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club meet Brothers Union Club at Sheikh Fazlul Haque
Mani Stadium in Gopalganj.

Both the matches kick off at 4 pm. Mohammedan Sporting Club currently stand second position in the league table with 27 points from 13 matches while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited, who stand forth position in the league table have collected 16 points playing the same number of matches.

While Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, standing seventh position in the league
table, have 15 points from 13 matches while bottom ranked all orange Gopibagh
outfit Brothers Union Club secured three points playing the same number of
outings.

Earlier, in the first phase, Mohammedan Sporting Club split point with
Chittagong Abahani Limited when their match ended in goalless draw held at
Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh while Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club
blanked Brothers Union Club by 2-0 goals held at Rajshahi District Stadium in
Rajshahi

Meanwhile, three more matches of fourteen round will be held on the following
day Saturday (May 4), Bangladesh Police Football Club meet old Dhaka outfit
Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in
Mymensingh, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra face Fortis Football Club at Rajshahi
District Stadium in Rajshahi and league leaders Bashun dhara Kings take on
Abahani Limited, Dhaka at Bashundhara Kings Arena.
