Fire at Bailey Road Kacchi Restaurant: Fire fighters at work

Fire at Bailey Road Kacchi Bhai restaurant in capital.

Dhaka, Feb 29 - A fire broke out in a restaurant on Bailey Road of the capital Dhaka on Thursday night.

Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters media cell, said the blaze began in ‘Kacchi Bhai Restaurant’ on Bailey Road 8: 50 pm.

On information, eight firefighting units from several stations rushed to the spot and were trying to bring the flame under control, he said. Two more units have joinedd since then.

The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, the FSCD officer said, adding that details on this matter will be shared later. - UNB
