Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves currently stand at $30.59 billion, according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank.

However, as per the International Monetary Fund (IMF) methodology under the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6), the reserve level is calculated at $25.75 billion.

The central bank noted that the difference arises from the IMF’s reporting standards, which exclude certain components from the official reserve figure.
