4.1 magnitude earthquake jolts Sylhet

A light earthquake with magnitude of 4.1in  Richter scale jolted different parts of Sylhet today.  


The tremor occurred at 12.46 pm, according to a message issued by Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). 

The epicenter of the earthquake was Chhatak, Sunamganj , which is 187 km north-east from BMD Seismic Centre, Agargaon, Dhaka, reports BSS.
