Couple held with 353 bottles of drugs in Thakurgaon

13 arrested an alleged drug dealer couple with 353 bottles of various brands of banned drugs from Purbaparpugi village under Sadar police station in Thakurgaon district today.


On a tip-off, a team of the RAB-13's Dinajpur Camp in a drive searched a house in the village, seized 183 bottles of phensedyl, 117 bottles of phensedyl-like ESkuf, 13 bottles of MKdyl syrup and arrested the couple around 3:30 am, a press release said.

The detainees were identified as Md Korban Ali, 41, son of the late Abul Khair, and his wife, Jasmine Khatun, 27, of Purbaparpugi village under Sadar police station in Thakurgaon district. 

After filing a case against the arrested couple in this incident, the elite force handed over the couple along with the seized drugs to Thakurgaon Sadar police station, reports BSS.
