National Legal Aid Day observed in Kalapara amid festivity

Procession brought out in Kalapara in observance of Legal Aid Day on Sunday.

Patuakhali: National Legal Aid Day 2024 was celebrated at Kalapara, Patuakhali with the theme 'Smart Legal Aid, Smart Country, Bangabandhu's Bangladesh'. On Sunday (April 28) at 10 a.m., a colorful rally to mark the day passed around the main main road of the municipality and ended at the Chowki Adalat premises.

Kalapara Senior Judicial Magistrate Ashish Roy, Kalapara Senior Assistant Judge Md. Anwar Hossain, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Shahina Parveen Sema, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Tachlima Begum, Kalapara Police Station OC Ali Ahmed, Mohipur Police Station OC Anwar Hossain including staff of Kalapara Senior Judicial Magistrate Court and Senior Assistant Judge Court, Practicing Lawyers, Public Representatives, GO, NGO Officers were also took part in the rally.

Later, a discussion meeting was held in the Chowki court hall room under the chairmanship of Kalapara Senior Judicial Magistrate Ashish Roy. Senior Assistant Judge of the Court Md. Anwar Hossain, President of Chowki Adalat Bar Association Advocate Md.
