The High Court (HC) granted bail to Rafiqul Islam Madani in four cases of the Digital Security Act of Dhaka and Gazipur.



The High Court (HC) granted bail to Rafiqul Islam Madani in four cases of the Digital Security Act of Dhaka and Gazipur.
As a result of this HC verdict, there is no legal bar to his release from prison, the lawyers said.
The court granted bail to him on the condition that he will not give an anti-state and provocative speech in any speeches in the future.
A High Court bench of Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice Md. Aminul Islam delivered this verdict on Wednesday (March 29).
Advocate Ashraf Ali Mollah appeared on behalf of Madani while Deputy Attorney General Shahin Ahmed Khan represented the state in the court.
