A minor girl died when construction materials fell on the girl from the roof of an under construction multi-storied building in Sreepur upazila .

A minor girl died when construction materials fell on the girl from the roof of an under construction multi-storied building in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur.
The incident took place at Mawna Uttarpara village in Mawna union of the upazila on Thursday (September 15) noon.
The deceased was identified as Fatema Khatun, 8, daughter of Aminul Islam.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur police station Mohammad Moniruzzaman confirmed the incident.
Police, being informed about the incident, rushed to the spot and recovered the body, he said.
Legal action will be taken if family members of the victim submit written complaint to the police station, the OC added.
