AL activist and trader shot dead in Pabna

A trader named Saidur Rahman, 50, was shot dead by miscreants at Hemayet union.



A trader named Saidur Rahman, 50, was shot dead by miscreants at Hemayet union under Pabna sadar Upazila on Friday noon.

He was a resident of the Kablipara union of the Upazila.

Pabna Police Super Masud Alam said miscreants shot him near a mosque of Charbangabaria village, leaving him dead on the spot.  But miscreants managed to flee from the spot. 

According to another report, the victim is an Awami League activist.

The dead body has been sent to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
