7 people die of Nipah virus in the country

Professor Dr Tahmina Shirin, Director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), disclosed the information on Monday (February 6).
According to icddr,b in Bangladesh, Nipah virus usually infects people through consumption of date palm sap contaminated with bat saliva or urine.
