
According to a press release issued today by the Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), one child died with measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths with measles symptoms to 665 from March 15 to July 13.
No death from confirmed measles was recorded during the past 24 hours. From March 15 to July 13, a total of 93 people died from confirmed measles.
The release said 896 suspected measles cases were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of suspected cases to 112,376 from March 15 to July 13.
During the past 24 hours, 113 confirmed measles cases were recorded, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 13,613 since March 15.
So far, 95,196 patients with suspected measles have been admitted to hospitals, while 91,483 patients have recovered and been discharged during the same period, reports BSS.
