Nepal Envoy Highlights UN’s Role for Bangladesh, Nepal

Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari on Monday underscored the vital role of the United Nations in promoting stronger multilateral cooperation, noting its continued importance for countries like Bangladesh and Nepal.

He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar titled ‘Building Our Future Together: Hopes and Lessons’, organised to mark Global Day 2025 at Independent University, Bangladesh.

The Ambassador outlined the key challenges confronting the UN and highlighted the longstanding contributions of both Bangladesh and Nepal in advancing peace, sustainable development, and inclusive multilateralism on the global stage.
