The Bangladesh High Commission in London showcased the nation’s rich cultural heritage at the Commonwealth Fair, held at Kensington Town Hall to mark the 100th anniversary of the Commonwealth Countries League (CCL) and celebrate all 56 member nations.

The Bangladesh pavilion drew significant attention with its exhibition of handcrafted jute and textile products, fine leather goods, and elegant pearls—each representing the country’s vibrant traditions and artistic excellence.

Visitors also enjoyed authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, adding a flavorful touch to the cultural celebration. The fair brought together representatives from across the Commonwealth, promoting friendship, cultural exchange, and goodwill.

Proceeds from the event will support the Commonwealth Girls’ Education Fund (CGEF), which helps provide education for underprivileged girls across Commonwealth countries.
