Pakistan Envoy Discusses Media Ties with ICT Adviser

Pakistan's High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Syed Ahmed Maruf, met with Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam at the latter's office in the Secretariat on Wednesday.


During the meeting, the Pakistani envoy expressed interest in signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Pakistan Television (PTV), as well as between Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

The Information Adviser also highlighted the potential for enhanced cooperation between the two countries, particularly regarding the broadcasting of Bangladeshi channels in Pakistan.

The meeting was attended by Press Counselor of the Pakistan High Commission Fasiha Ullah and Private Secretary to the Information Adviser, Syed Enamul Kabir, among others.
