BD's New High Commissioner to Australia Presents Credentials

The newly appointed High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia, F.M. Borhan Uddin, formally presented his Letter of Credence to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Sam Mostyn, during an official ceremony at the Government House in Canberra this morning.


Upon his arrival, High Commissioner Uddin was warmly welcomed by Jonathan Muir, Chief of Protocol at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The ceremony marked a significant moment in the strengthening of diplomatic ties between Bangladesh and Australia.

In his address, the High Commissioner conveyed the cordial greetings of the President, the Chief Adviser, and the people of Bangladesh to the Governor-General. In return, Her Excellency Sam Mostyn expressed her appreciation for the warm sentiments and wished Mr. Uddin great success in his new role.

Following the formalities, the two dignitaries engaged in an in-depth discussion, exchanging views on a wide range of bilateral and multilateral issues, further solidifying the diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
