Swiss Envoy Highlights Private Sector Role in BD's Potential

Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh, Reto Siegfried Renggli, highlighted the importance of recognizing Bangladesh's potential, particularly by engaging the private sector.


He made the remarks during a meeting with Foreign Secretary Ambassador Md. Jashim Uddin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to a ministry press release.

The discussion covered a wide range of issues, including trade and investment, development cooperation, climate change, migration, and addressing the Rohingya crisis.

Both sides expressed optimism about the future of their bilateral relations, identifying numerous opportunities to strengthen ties across multiple sectors.
