Cyclone Remal: Another man dies on way to shelter

Satkhira, May 27 - Another man died while going to a shelter during a storm caused by Cyclone Remal. The incident occurred in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district on Sunday evening.

The victim was identified as Shawkot Hossain Morol, 65, a resident of Napitkhali village under Gabura union of the upazila.

Masudul Alam, chairman of Gabura Union Parishad, said Shawkot was going to the shelter around 7:30 pm on his bicycle. He slipped and fell on the road and died on the spot.

Locals suspected that Shawkot might have died from a heart attack as there were no injury marks on his body, added the UP chairman.
