Housewife found dead in C’nawabganj septic tank: husband held

Police recovered the body of a 36-year-old woman from a septic tank at Raninagar-Hatatpara in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Wednesday.


The deceased was identified as Nasima Begum, wife of Mizanur Rahman.

Police arrested Mizanur Rahman in this connection, said Additional Superintendent of Chapainawabganj Police ANM Wasim Firoz.

Being informed by local people, police recovered the body of Nasima from the septic tank.

The body bore several injury marks.

During interrogation, Mizanur confessed to killing his wife over family feud, said ASP Wasim.

The body was sent to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, reports UNB.
