Two top terrorists arrested with firearms in Rajbari

Two top terrorists were held along with illegal firearms in a joint drives from 'Jamia Bricks' in Dubla Bari area in Baliakandi upazila of the district on Sunday.
The arrestees were Baliakandi union Parishad former chairma Mashiur Azam Chunnu and his assistant Md Ridoy Sheikh.
On a tip-off, a team of joint force raided in the Jamia Bricks and arrested the duo.
Police said there were 18 cases including women and children repression, explosion and attempt to murder, in different police stations against Chunnu.
The joint force also recovered a China-made riffle, three walky-talky, eight mobile phones, two country-made weapons and Taka 38,000 from their possessions, reports BSS.
They were handed over to Rajbari Sadar thana.
Legal action has been taken against them.
