DMP in anti-drug drives detained 17 people along with drugs from different areas of the city in last 24 hours as of 6:00am on Thursday.



Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in anti-drug drives detained 17 people along with drugs from different areas of the city in last 24 hours as of 6:00am on Thursday.
During the drives, 178 Yaba tablets and 1.1 kilograms of hemp and six grams and 35 puria (small packet) of horein were recovered from their possessions, DMP Media and Public Relations deputy commisioner Md Faruq Hossain said.
A total of 14 cases were filed with the police stations concerned under the Narcotics Control Act.
